In this course, we will work with analogue media such as ink, brushes, pencils and collages, as well as advanced techniques in Adobe Photoshop. You will learn to develop an eye for exciting motifs, find interesting compositions, do a wide variety of drawing exercises and keep a sketchbook.
You will add balanced colour combinations, textures and effects to your black-and-white results on the computer and learn which file formats to use for different applications.
You will need a variety of pens, rulers, scissors, glue, round and flat brushes, a sketchbook, and a laptop with a Photoshop licence. If you have a drawing tablet (Wacom, iPad, etc.), you are welcome to use it as well.
The course will take place online. There will be four long block sessions, each lasting 5 hours and 15 minutes. You must be present for the entire duration of these sessions and regularly submit drawing assignments between sessions.
The first session is on 23 October from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The other dates will be announced on that day.

If more than 16 people register for the course, participants will be selected by lottery. Registrations will be accepted until 16 October at 2 p.m., in no particular order.
