This workshop is aimed at anyone who is interested in 2D animation but has no previous experience in this field.
During the three days of the course, you will first learn about the technical and historical background of animation. After the subsequent brainstorming, you will create both hand-drawn and computer-based animated loop sequences.
You will need pens, erasers, copy paper and a laptop with the Adobe programs After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
We will meet at the beginning of the lecture period for one hour during a video call. On this date you will receive detailed information about the material list and the course schedule. I will inform you of this date as soon as the participants have been confirmed.
In preparation for the workshop, you will receive assignments during the lecture period, which you must submit online.
Registration: Write an e-mail with the subject „Registration Animation 101“ to hello@berndpegritz.com. The matriculation number is sufficient as the content of the e-mail. If more than 16 people register for the course, participants will be selected by lottery. Registrations will be accepted until MO April 15 at 14:00, no matter the order. Students who have never had the chance to take part in one of my courses have priority.
